John’s Obituary Cumming, GA – John Deans passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. Born in New York City in 1931, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ann. John also leaves behind his brother Dave (Mary), three sons: James (Susan), John, and Michael (Jaye), three daughters: Nora (Joseph), Ann (Bruce) and Gloria (Andrew).

John was blessed in so many ways to include his nieces, nephews, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. After serving our Country in the U.S. Air Force, John enjoyed a progressive career with Joyce Beverages (7Up) in the Bronx. In retirement, John was passionate about family reunions in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, winter month visits to Florida and supporting his grandchildren’s college education.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff at Cumming Manor for their care, kindness and friendship. John’s family and friends will forever be grateful and celebrate his life! Go Giants!
