Murphy, age 63, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. A ceremony to celebrate the life of Johnny Murphy will be held on December 22nd at 3pm under one of the beloved oak trees he favored at The Ford Plantation. Johnny was not a man of formality and he clearly suggested we celebrate his death.

He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you please give to the Betterway Foundation, created by Johnny to help others many years ago. This foundation was the epitome of the man who gave so selflessly to people in need of opportunity and his wife and children plan to further carry on his legacy.
