John Nagy, of Denton,Texas, passed away on February 20, 2019 in the comfort of his loved ones. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on December 21, 1945 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He was married for 50 years to the love of his life, and former student nurse, Linda. Together they have raised two children, traveled the world, and made friendships that will last for eternity. If he wasn’t riding his motorcycle on the open road, he was in the garage tinkering on something.

John is survived by his wife, Linda Nagy, of Denton, Texas; His son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Michelle Nagy of Wichita, Kansas; His daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tommy Wagnon of Rhome, Texas; His grandchildren, Mackenzie Pounds, Madalynn Wagnon, Caleb Wagnon, Olivia Nagy, and Braelyn Nagy; His sister and brother-in-law Beatrice and John Skethway of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Nagy, and his sister Kathryn Clouser. The celebration of John’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas.

There will be a reception immediately following. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
