Obituary for John Lee Kunzer Kunzer,John Lee, age 51 of Bloomington, went to be with his Lord and Savior early Sunday morning, October 14, 2018 after a courageous battle to recover from injuries related to his motorcycle accident September 22nd, 2017. John was the definition of free spirit. He was a loving and loyal father, brother, son and friend who loved to tell stories to anyone that would listen.

If you had children you would most likely find John on the floor playing with them. He had a passion for riding motorcycles that started with his first motorcycle, a Kawasaki Intruder, which he purchased when he was 19 years old. He was an active member of the Throttle Junkies motorcycle club and he loved to listen to music and attend concerts.

He was the self proclaimed #1 fan of the band Split Second, a band in which his friend Darrik Iverson was a founding member. John had a heart of gold and was known to help out wherever he was needed. Throughout his battle to recover, John showed us all his great strength and will to fight by his continued rebounds after so many setbacks in his nearly 13 month battle.

John had a big impact on us all in his 51 years and will be missed dearly by so many. John was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, Albert and Alice Kunzer, and Edgar and Elizabeth Carpenter. He is survived by his daughters, Christine and Natalie; father, Dennis; mother, Teresa (Donald) Morgan; sister, JoLene (Joe) Morgan, brother, Mark (Yvonne), sister, Lisa (John) Wilhelm, brother, Todd (Tifney) Morgan; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many relatives and friends.
