Obituary for John Mikel Ehritt Our most beloved John, age 30, passed away on the morning of his birthday April 6, 2018. John was a delightful son, brother, cousin and friend to many. He was an excellent and hard-working painter for Northern Painting of North Hudson, WI and also employed by Quality Cut Lawn Care.

John loved to have fun hanging out with his friends and family in a variety of ways from body building to golfing. He could often be found singing and dancing around the house or out on the dance floor, pulling tabs, getting a new tattoo, reading, playing a pick-up hockey game at Christmas, cheering on the Vikes, boating on the Croix, shopping, pumping at the gym, playing games, cooking his signature meal, or grabbing another burrito at Chipotle. He was crazy about shoes, watches and getting the right haircut.

He thought himself a cat-whisperer. John was warm hearted to all and supportive of others in their recovery paths. We will forever miss the light of his laughter and smile.

Survived by Theresa and Scott Staffon, mother and step-father; Christopher Ehritt, father; and Maria Ehritt, sister. Grandparents Richard and Marilyn Bellefeuille, Marna Bellefeuille, Annette and Allen Otte; Brittney Miller, love of his life, and many amazing aunts, uncles, and cousins. In Heaven, John joins his cousin Jedd Harms, Aunt Virginia Konves, grand-father John Ehritt, friends Ricky Jaros, Ben Wallerius, and Eric Kidder; and all those who have tragically lost their lives to the opioid epidemic.

Visitation will be held Saturday April 14, 11AM-1PM with funeral service at 1PM at Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Rd NE. St Anthony (Mpls), MN. Memorials preferred to Higher Ground Saint Paul Homeless Shelter, 435 Dorothy Day Place St Paul, MN.
