Obituary for John P. Schreiber John Philip Schreiber, age 60 passed away in his home on December 30, 2018. He was born on July 2, 1958 to John R. “Jack” and Dianne (nee Kwekkeboom) Schreiber in Maywood. John was raised in Bolingbrook and graduated from Bolingbrook High School.

He worked as a truck driver until he moved to Miami, FL, where the sand and sun were his joy. He recently moved back to Joliet to be near friends and family. He was most recently employed by Arena Illinois Auto Auction.

He was an avid fan of the Miami Hurricanes, Chicago Bears and NASCAR. John is survived by his parents; daughter Tiffany Schreiber; granddaughter Sydney Colby; sisters Dawn (Brad) Worland and Judy (Tim) Martin; brother Tim (Kim) Schreiber; nieces and nephews Mallory Payne, Miranda Lee, Neil Martin, Anna Martin, Adam Schreiber and Cole Schreiber. He is also survived by his long-time loving companion Colleen Svczepkowski.

Services for John will be held at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd. , Crest Hill, IL 60403 on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4 pm to 8 pm. There will be a Catholic service to begin at 6 pm.
