OBITUARY John Paul Cantwell December 5, 1951 – October 24, 2018 John Paul Cantwell of Plymouth, MA, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Dedham Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Kathleen Fay Herlihy. Born in Dorchester, MA a son of the late John W. and Florence (Connelly) Cantwell.

Mr. Cantwell had worked as a police office for 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his children, Tamara Barron of Norwood and Robert Barron and his wife Karen of Norwood, MA; Brian Barron of Dedham; a sister, Catherine Urolatis of Middleboro; 2 brothers, Christopher J. Cantwell of Florida and Roland Cantwell of Boston; 8 grandchildren, Michelle Barrett, Julia Richard, Daniel Barron, Christopher Morrill, Steven Barron, Dylan Barron and Bridget Barron; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia Richard and Julian Richard.

He was also the long-time companion of Carol Cleverly of Plymouth. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph L. Barron, Sr. and a grandson, Joseph Barron, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 12 noon at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. , Bourne, MA.

Visitation prior to the service 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Interment with military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne.
