Obituary for John Paul “Johnny” Young John Paul “Johnny” Young, 74, of Dermott, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. Johnny was born August 18, 1943 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Katheryn Bolton. He formally worked for Chicot County Road Department and for Southeast Farmers Coop.

Johnny loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, AR. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, John Paul “Bo” Young, Jr. and his brother, Eddie Young.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gail Burns Young; daughters, Dawn (Mike) Scroggins of Bastrop, LA and Jody Young of Dermott, AR; brother, Roger Young, Sr. of Hannicroix, NY; sister, Linda Marshall of Great Falls, MT; grandchildren, Megan Young, Cody Scroggins, Dakota Young, Sydney Young, Madison Young and Josh Young; great-grandchildren, Hunter Winchester, Jason Pamplin and Khloe Young. Visitation will be 10-11am Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, AR. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am at the church with Rev.
