OBITUARY John R. Buerkett September 9, 1930 – January 5, 2019 John Roy “Jack” Buerkett , 88, a resident of Winter Haven, FL, entered into God’s eternal care Saturday January 5, 2019 with his loving wife Pamela by his side. Jack was born September 19, 1930 in Bloomington, IL to Daulton R. and Estelle Buerkett. He graduated from Normal Community High School before enlisting in the United States Navy where he served from 1951-1955.

Jack was always proud to be a Navy man and recently celebrated his 60 year membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Jack is survived by his wife Pamela; an eldest son, John Buerkett; a daughter Cindy Buerkett both of Kingwood Texas and a younger son, Christopher Buerkett of Plattsburgh, NY. Also surviving are five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
