John’s Obituary John Robert Allen, 77, formerly of Campbell, TX, passed away in Greenville, Ohio on May 8, 2019. Born on June 4, 1941, he was the son of Pauline Quinn Allen and Taylor Parish Allen of Fairlie. John Robert was a meat cutter by trade, an outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing and a horseman.

He was a generous and kind man who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. John is survived by his son, Robert Gregory Allen; daughter Elizabeth Ann Sheley; grandchildren, John Daniel Allen, Lucas Allen, Caitlin Spears, Sarah Collins and Eli Sheley; 6 great grandchildren; brother William David Allen; sisters, Barbara Cunningham and Sandra Jones. He was preceeded in death by his parents; beloved sister Paula Curren and his niece Stacy Cude.

Interment will be at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie with Jason Cunningham conducting the graveside service. The date and time of service is pending.
