John Roger Spicer Sr, 83, of Seco passed away Monday April 29, 2019 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. John was the son of the late Obie and Mary Eva Craft Spicer. Surviving are his wife of 58 years: Francis Jo Spicer of Seco; 1 Son: John (Anita) Spicer Jr of Fort Myers Florida; 1 Daughter: Kimberly Jo ( Joseph) Ison of Richmond; 1 Brother: Obie Spicer of Lancaster; 1 Sister: Tressie Mullins of Neon; 5 Grandchildren: John Spicer III; Joshua Standifur; Jessica Weaver; Kori Standifur; Joseph Ison II.

Funeral 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 4, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Hurst officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Thursday May 2, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens at Powell Valley Virginia.
