OBITUARY John S. Staum September 3, 1931 – September 23, 2018 Staum, John S. Age 87, longtime resident of Blaine, passed peacefully on 9/23/2018. Preceded in death by Parents, Nels and Lydia; Sister, Phyllis Peterson. Survived by Loving Wife of 64 years, Bernadette; Children, Mark (Linda) and Nancy Egge; Grandchildren, Lindsey (Mike), Jake (Erin), Nils (Malory) and Lars; and Great-granddaughter, Clare.

USMC Korean War Vet. Past National Commander of VFW. 1948 Central H.S. – Mpls.

graduate. Attended St. Olaf College. Drafted in 1951; served 2 yrs.

in the Marine Corps. Worked in construction, sales & mgmnt. ~Funeral Service~ 11am, Friday, September 28, 2018 with visitation from 9:30-11am at Christ Lutheran Church, 641 89th Ave NE, Blaine, Minnesota ~Interment~ Morningside Memorial Gardens Coon Rapids, Minnesota In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
