Obituary for John T. Angelo John T. Angelo, passed away at the age of 84 on May 20th at the Dobson House-Hospice of the Valley in Chandler, AZ. He leaves behind his family whom he loved deeply. His daughter, Amy L. Angelo and her partner Robert Ratemo and their dog Nitro in Phoenix, AZ, his brother Robert Angelo in Freeland, nephew Robert Angelo, Jr. and his wife Selina Angelo of Freeland, niece Kathy Walters and her husband James Walters in Collegeville and other close family members, Jason, Christy, Logan and Brandon Walters in Philadelphia, Mandy, Steven and Ethan Moran in Collegeville, and Robert Angelo, III in Freeland.

John, or as he was known to many, Jackie, graduated from Hazleton High School in 1951 and served for a short time in the US Army. He went on to enjoy a career as a painter, as well as a bartender for many years. He was loved by his many friends and respected for his kindness, open heart and generosity.

He loved music, jokes, animals and living life to the fullest! A Celebration of Life party where friends and family will toast to Jackie will be held Sunday, June 3rd at 4 p.m. at Booty’s Place – 1087 N. Church St., Hazleton, PA 18202 Donations in his name could be specified for Caregiver Advocacy to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Should you choose to send flowers, they will be sent to his brother’s for the Celebration of Life.
