He is survived by his Wife of 63 years, Monica; Sons, Mike, Steve (Marilyn), Jeff (Collette), Tom (Karen), Jack (LaMae); Grandchildren, Patrick, Donovan, Trevor, Brady, Ryan, Katie, Molly, Michelle, MacKenzie; Great-grandchildren, Zechariah, Mason, Stella; Sisters, Mary (Jerry) Taylor, Kay (Joel) Streitz, Geraldine (Gene – deceased) Archambault. ~Mass of Christian Burial~ 10AM Monday, October 29, 2018 at Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Ave.

NE, Blaine, Minnesota ~Visitation~ 2-5PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, Minnesota with a “2 bell” Naval ceremony at 4PM, and also a visitation 1 hour prior to mass at the church. ~Interment~ Fort Snelling National Cemetery Minneapolis, Minnesota Vern served for 33 years in the USN Air and also 25 years at HDR.
