John’s Obituary John W. Adams, 90, of Telford, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Neshaminy Manor in Doylestown Twp. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to the late Dorothy B. (Coyle) Adams who died in 2012. Born in Mt.

Carmel, PA, he was a son of the late Earl M. and Martha (Park) Adams. A U.S. Army veteran of WWII, he served from 1946-1947 as a paratrooper. Mr. Adams was employed as a welder for FMC Linkbelt for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1991.

He served as the recording secretary of Union #755. An avid Phillies fan and Philadelphia sports enthusiast, he also enjoyed attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. In his free time, he enjoyed walking in parks, doing crossword puzzles, golfing, and listening to music.

He is survived by three sons: John W. Adams II and his wife Christy of Pottstown, PA, Jan W. Adams and his wife Cathy of Johnstown, PA, and James W. Adams and his wife Kirsten of Springfield, PA, three daughters: Jill D. Adams of Huntingdon, PA, Jade W. DiClemente and her husband Michael of Brooksville, FL, and Jackie W. Patton and her husband Michael of Perkasie, PA, nineteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Jay F. Adams, a brother, James R. Adams, a sister, Jean Ambrose, and four grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford.

Family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Christ Reformed Cemetery at Indian Creek in Telford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Neshaminy Manor Activity Fund, 1660 S. Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976 or to Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 N. Chapman Rd.
