John W. McClanahan “Buddy” age 66, of Flagler Beach, Fl. , formerly of Sanford passed away February 20, 2019. He was born August 22, 1952 in Eustis, Florida.

He is the son of A.A. “Mac” McClanahan, Sr. and Carolyn McClanahan. He was predeceased by his father Mac in 2000. John is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Jean McClanahan, two daughters Megan, and Lisa McClanahan, his mother Carolyn D. McClanahan; brother A.A. “Mick” McClanahan, Jr., and sister Patti McClanahan Hartwig.

He is also survived by his granddaughter Bailie A. Keaton, nephew Michael Hartwig, nieces Amy (Jacob) Longtin, Kelly Hartwig, Marie (Joe) Dickinson, and Kathy (Bill) Diehl. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer 2525 S. Oak Ave. Sanford, Florida 32771.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Following interment family and friends are welcomed back to the church for a reception. Arrangements entrusted to GRAMKOW FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 500 E. Airport Blvd.
