Obituary for John Wayne Peters Mr. John Wayne Peters, 64, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was born February 23, 1954 in Ravenna, Ohio the son of the late Mr. John Wells Peters and the late Mrs. Edna Mae Huntley Peters. He married Tina Elese Wood on April 13, 1982 in South Carolina.

He was a truck driver. He loved his family and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tina Elese Wood Peters of Douglasville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and George McDonell of Niagara Falls, NY, Ashley Peters and her boyfriend, Kevin Bannister of Douglasville, GA, Brittany Peters and her fiancé, Daniel Tiebor of Tonawanda, NY; two grandchildren, Cara McDonell and Jack McDonell; two sisters, Deborah Myers of Nevada and Brenda Vertuca of Florida.
