OBITUARY John William Gardiner June 6, 1949 – January 18, 2019 JOHN W. GARDINER A good man …completed his life journey at the age of 69 on January 18, 2019. John and his wife, Carol, enjoyed more than 36 years of marriage and happy times, traveling, golfing, camping, skiing, boating, spending time with family, neighbors and many friends from around the world. However, nothing excited him as much as his love for duck hunting and his wonderful memories with his father in the duck blinds.

John is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters Leslie (and Brandon) Robinson of Keller, and Casey (and Ray) Lobato of Fort Worth; two step sons, Kevin (and Kelli) Arnwine, Colleyville and Marty (and Cher) Arnwine of Canton, GA. He was blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren. Beckham and Barrett Robinson, Campbell and Elliot Lobato, Colin Arnwine, Cory Arnwine and Kristen (and Chris) Sillay.

One sister, Ann (and Jerry) Marsh, Mineral Wells, TX and brother-in-law Dalton (and Cynthia) Maroney, Arlington,TX. John was preceded in death by his his parents, Peter and Nicki Gardiner of Mineral Wells, TX. John William Gardiner, born in Houston,Texas on June 6, 1949, attended Mineral Wells High School and graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Throughout a successful and long career, John was a devoted employee. R&D Manager at Dahlgren Mfg. Company, Dallas, for ten years.

Vice President Engineering at Publishers Equipment Corp. , Dallas, Rockford, IL and York, PA, For nine years. Director Engineering at FL Smithe Machine in Duncansville, PA for 16 years.

Project Manager at PCMC in Green Bay, WI, four years. He retired in 2014 and made his home in Ball Ground, GA. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of John’s life to be held at Foust Funeral Home, 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, Texas, on February 22, at 2:00.
