On September 28, 2018 John Wiliiam McEvoy loving husband of he late Elsie Lucille McEvoy (nee Putnam); devoted father of Deborah Urie, Helen Stevens and her husband Michael, the late Karen McEvoy and Linda Blackwell; beloved “Pop” of Jennifer, Kirk, Brittany and Christopher; cherished great grandfather of Ashley,Katelynn, Morgan, and Logan; loving great great grandfather of Ryan, Tristan and Kenzley; dear brother of Betty Hopkins and her husband the late Raymond Hopkins and the late Marie Foreman and her husband Joseph Foreman. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Es, 300 Mace Avenue, on Wednesday at 11 am.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 3-5,7-9 pm. Interment at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
