John William McLean of Goshen, OH. Born on September 17, 1939 in Raytown, Missouri. Went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2018 at the age of 79.

Beloved husband of Audra (nee Jennings) McLean. Loving father of John R. McLean, Sheila (Chip) Shaw, Brian (Christine) Ressler and Jason (Casey) McLean. Caring grandfather of Sarah (Corey) Bohl, Savannah McLean, Brandon Ressler, Olivia McLean, Aaron Ressler and Ethan Ressler.

Proud great-grandfather of Denver Bohl. Dear brother of Nancy Heidbreder and the late Bobby McLean. Uncle of Dana Keith and Donnie Heidbreder.

Cherished son of the late Robert Edward and Thelma Josephine (nee Puckett) McLean. Best Papaw of Molly. Also survived by numerous relatives and many dear friends.

John was founder and past owner/operator of J & A Sons Inc. John proudly served in the United States Navy for 9 years. He was a member of Mason Masonic Lodge #678 and a member of Scotish Rite. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 9 AM – 11 AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt.

28, Goshen, where services will immediately follow at 11 AM, beginning with the Mason Masonic Lodge #678 service, followed by the Scotish Rite Ring Service Valley of Cincinnati and funeral service. Interment with military honors, Goshen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of John McLean to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd.

, Cincinnati, OH 45206 or in honor of his cherished mother-in-law, Elizabeth Hays, to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203. Pastor Joe Childress of Springvale Baptist Church will be the minister for John’s services. Pallbearers for John are: John McLean, Brian Ressler, Jason McLean, Chip Shaw, Randy Whitacre, Kenwood Ramsey, Brandon Ressler, Aaron Ressler.

Honorary Pallbearer is Ethan Ressler.
