Johnathan R. Azevedo, 35, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his residence. He was an auto mechanic at Ernie’s Garage in Elsmere. Johnathan was a devoted board member with Promises Inc. in Newport, loved service work and helping people.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Amos Azevedo. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Ronald and Mary Azevedo of Hebron; girlfriend, Ellen Haskell of Lakeside Park; brothers, Jeromy Kelsey of Fresno, California and Joshua Azevedo (Marti) of Hebron; paternal grandmother, Adeline Azevedo of Modesto, California; step-sister, Jaqueline (Andrew) Foltz of Hebron; uncle, Norman (Mary) Azevedo of Walnut Creek, California; and nephews, Kaden and Elliot. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Midendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron.

Visitation begins at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorials are suggested to Promises Inc. 116 W. 9th Street, Newport, Kentucky 41071.
