Obituary of John Waugaman John H. “Jack” Waugaman, Jr., age 83 of West Mifflin, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2018. He died peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born November 14, 1934 in Duquesne, the son of the late John H. and Helen Ringler Waugaman, and husband of the late Kathryn March.

Jack worked for Kennywood Park for many years on the pony tracks, and as a ride operator. He was a foreman for US Steel Duquesne Works for 31 ½ years. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and playing cards.

He is survived by his son John H. (Laura) Waugaman III of West Mifflin; daughters, Kathryn Waugaman of McKeesport, Tracy Cain of West Mifflin, Donna (Jeff) Godfrey of Yulee, FL and Jacqueline Waugaman, of West Mifflin, with whom he lived; niece Sherri (Ben) McCaulley of Woodbridge, VA; sister Helen Patterson of Yulee, FL; grandchildren, Jimmy, Wade, Jessica, Jeffrey, Amber, Bruce, Kevin, Katelyn, Tina, and Lizzy; 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise and brothers, Charles, Donald, Lanny and Robert Waugaman. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd.

, Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192). Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9 am with Pastor Michael Pierson and Pastor Rob Ivy officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.
