OBITUARY Johnnie Faye Houser February 5, 1938 – October 18, 2018 On Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 7 :00 p.m., Johnnie Faye Brown Houser went to be with the Lord after suffering an extended illness. A devoted wife, loving and best mother, grandmother, sister and mother-in-law, she is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Wallace Glenn Houser. The Housers together were residents of Riverchase, Alabama for 32 year.

Mrs. Houser was of the Baptist faith, loved her family and loved to play Bingo with her friends and daughter. She was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama and graduated Etowah High School. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Glenn Houser, daughter, Pamela Doss Crain (Jon), sister, Glenda Brown Pullen, grandchildren Amber Kathryn Pennington, Lauren (Ashley) Pennington, great grandchildren Zachary Ryan Markham, Nathan Alexander Markham, Schroeder Leviticus Markham and Karo Charlotte Walton, niece Jamie Pullen Preston (Ryan) and nephew, Chris Pullen.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Edna Brown and son, John Gregory “Greg” Doss. Her service will be officiated by the pastor she loved and who married the Housers 32 years ago, Brother Richard Trader and will be held at Ridout’s Valley Chapel, Homewood, Alabama on Monday October 22, 2018 at 10:00 am. A reception will follow.

Her final resting place will be Rainbow Memorial Gardens, Gadsden, Alabama alongside her parents and son.
