OBITUARY Johnnie Mai Eakes Ellis March 19, 1923 – December 11, 2018 Johnnie Mai Eakes Ellis, age 95, of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018. Johnnie was born in Mt Juliet on March 19, 1923. Preceded in death by loving Husband Bernard Ellis and Daughter Brenda Chandler.

Grandchildren Mackenzie Brianna Wagoner and Jenny Gayle Chandler. Survived by Daughters Wilma Wagoner and Fay Cripps. Sons John Robert (Judy) Ellis and Charlie Ellis.

Sister in Law Connie Eakes. Special friend Ruby Creekmore. Nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and Seventeen great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Johnnie will be held 1 30 pm Friday at Hermitage Funeral Home with Dr. Chuck Groover and Rev. Curt Wagoner officiating. Interment to be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Brian Wagoner, David Chandler ,Donnie Meador II, Colin McCain, Steve Ellis, Mark Tankersley ,Jacob Wagoner and Eddie Hurt serving as pallbearers.

Charlie, John Robert and Todd Ellis, Zach Wagoner, Peyton Thompson, Don and Weston McCain and Donnie Meador serving as Honorary pallbearers.
