Obituary for Johnnie Sue “Nana” Fleming FLEMING, Mrs. Johnnie Sue “Nana” – age 84, passed away, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30am Saturday, October 20, 2018 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 394 Howland Ave. , with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM.

Pastor Solomon Smith, Jr., Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30am Saturday. Mrs. Fleming will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday.

Mrs. Fleming leaves to cherish her memory: children, Sanford (Casandra) Fleming, Ronnie Fleming and Regina M. Burton; grandchildren, Sanford D. Fleming, IV, Sarah Jasmine Fleming, Keyon (Shadanna) Fleming, Turquoise (Joe) Greschak, Burgundy Martin, Diamond Fleming, Ronnie Fleming, Jr., Krystal Fleming, William Bullock, Rona (Gregory) Lewis and Rashad Fleming; a host of great grandchildren; brother, Curtis (Mary) Lane; aunt, Mildred Patton; daughter-in-law, Brenda Fleming and other relatives and friends including special friend, James White. Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Will Lane; siblings, Mattie (Tom) Jones, Ella Ruth (James) Crockett, Ervin (Barbara) Lane, Sr., Joe (Barbara) Lane and Will (Helen) Lane, Jr., and special friend, Sanford Fleming, II.
