Johnny’s Obituary Johnny Angel Martinez “Dirty Johnny” Johnny Angel Martinez, 45, of Las Cruces passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at Mountain View Regional Center. He was born June 17, 1973 in Las Cruces to Victoria Carabajal and Sabino Martinez, Dirty Johnny, as he was fondly known to family and friends, was a caring, funny, and loving person, and a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends.

And foremost, he was diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. Those left to mourn his passing include his loving companion, Hilda Ruiz of the family home; one son, David Martinez, and a daughter, Elisha Maurice Martinez (Julio) all of Las Cruces; his mother, Victoria Carabajal, one brother, Ronnie Martinez of Toppenish, Washington, three sisters, Rebecca Najera, M. Elena Martinez (Joshua), and Sabina Martinez all of Las Cruces. Other survivors include his grandchildren, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father Sabino Martinez, nieces Desiree Padilla, Jennifer Martinez, and nephew, Gerardo Sanchez, Jr. Visitation for Mr. Martinez will begin at 10 AM for the Public, Thursday, February 14, 2019 at La Paz-Graham’s Funeral in Las Cruces where the Rosary is scheduled for 11 AM.
