He was born Sunday, September 24, 1939 in Vossburg, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Stanley Downs will officiate.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181 He was preceded in death by Mamie Cook (Wife), James Allen Cook (Father), Helen Cook (Mother), Faye Mills (Sister). Survivors include Johnny Cook (Sabrina) (Son), Teresa Pitts (Daughter), James Tracy Cook (Sharie) (Son), Stacy Cook (Christi) (Son), Cathy Johnson (Phillip) (Daughter), 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, Richard Cook (Gene) (Brother).

Pallbearers will be Bo Cook, Steven Mills, Dusty Cook, Dakota Cook, Jeremy Oliver, and Billy Ray Pitts. Honorary pallbearers will be Sabastian Schaeffer, and Eric Haney. Online guestbook may be signed at www.
