John Wesley Solesbee, 72 of Cottage Grove, OR passed away on March 12, 2019. He was born on March 12, 1947 in Murphy, North Carolina to parents Jacob and Dorothy (Kephart) Solesbee. John made his living as a timber faller.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. John married Loretta Miller on September 8, 2005 in Reno, NV. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Solesbee; daughters, Margaret Solsebee, Angie Solesbee, Linda Foster and husband Jimmy, Kathleen Solesbee; son, Kenneth Solesbee; step-son, Johnny Miller; siblings, R.V. Solesbee, Ann Nunn, Larry Solesbee, Keith Solesbee; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A private family visitation was held. Burial at Walker Union Cemetery. Arrangements in the care of Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, OR.
