Tamaroa Rd. in Tamaroa, due to injuries from an automobile accident. Jordan had been a water operator for the Village of Tamaroa.

He was of the Christian faith. Jordan was a 2015 graduate from Pinckneyville High School, where he was a member of the golf team. He loved hunting, fishing, racing motorcycles, four-wheeler riding and spending time with his son, Bryson.

He was born September 5, 1996 at Carbondale, IL, the son of Terry and Melissa (Stube) Grissom. He is survived by one son – Bryson Grissom of Tamaroa, his fiancé – Breanna Zoeckler of Tamaroa, his mother – Melissa Stube-Grissom of Tamaroa, his father – Terry (Stefanie) Grissom of Carrier Mills, two sisters – Jennifer (Travis) Reckinger of Benton, and Brianna Grissom of Carrier Mills, his maternal grandparents – Jim and Donna Stube of Tamaroa, his paternal grandparents – Terry and Sharon Grissom of Anna, one nephew – Jacob Reckinger of Benton, one uncle – Curtis Stube of Tamaroa, three aunts – Kim (David) Stube-Woodside of Sparta, Tammy (Steve) Stube-Cooper of Carterville, and Angie (Rick) Johnson of Anna, cousins – Emily McIntyre, Nathan Woodside, Heather Liggett, Mercedes Levesque, Madison Lingle, Lexie Lingle, and Liam Johnson. He was preceded in death by his best friend – Tyler Iubelt.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Searby Funeral Home of Tamaroa with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa. Friends may make memorials to his son, with donations made to Breanna Zoeckler and will be accepted at the funeral home.
