OBITUARY Jordan Andrew Zane Nira August 13, 2003 – September 2, 2018 Jordan Andrew Zane Nira, 15, of Bartlett, Texas passed away on September 2, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born on August 13, 2003 in Temple, Texas to Nicholas and Marsha Nira of Bartlett. Jordan is survived by both his parents and two brothers PFC Jeremy and PFC Matthew also his sister Kaile as well as his beloved pet Chihuahua named Yoda.

He is survived by his great-grandmothers Cecilia Nira of Taylor, Texas and Wanda Prewett of Muldrow, Oklahoma. Great-grandparents Frank and Rosa Rodriguez of Bartlett, Texas. His grandparents David and Alice Nira of Bartlett, Texas and Terry Rice of Davilla, Texas as well as Toby and Brenda Modgling of Belton, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandfathers Conrado Nira, Arvil Rice, and George “David” Prewett also his Great-grandmother Maggie Rice. Also preceded in death is his two great-uncles James Nira and Jerry Rice and great-aunt Sharon Parsons. Jordan was loved by many family and friends.

He leaves behind his many uncles and aunts. Andrew and Lori Nira, Adrian and Wendy Nira, Steven Nira, Joshua Rice, Chris and Kim Rice, Terra and Rick Scott, Rachel and Anthony Ward, Nathan Rice and his godmother Stanci Schroeder. Jordan was loved by his 27 first cousins and many more great uncles and great uncles and cousins.

Jordan spent his days building legos and talking endlessly about dinosuars and Star Wars. Visitation will be held on Friday September 7th, 2018 from 6pm-7pm with a rosary at 7pm at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday September 8th, 2018 at SS.

Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger, TX. Burial will follow at Bartlett City Cemetery.
