Obituary of Jorge Rodas-Samayoa Jorge Luis Rodas-Samayoa, 61, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Jorge was born in Santo Domingo, Suchitepequez, Guatemala on August 20, 1956 to Salome Rodas and Laura Samayoa-de Rodas. Jorge was an avid sports fan.

His two favorite sports were boxing and futbol, but above all his favorite past time was to drink coffee and enjoy pastries with all of his family together at his house. Sunday was the day for family. First, Jorge and his family would get ready for church.

Jorge loved attending church and praising God ever since he gave his life to the Lord. After church Jorge would go home to enjoy his coffee with his family. Jorge also served in the food pantry at his church.

He would help restock food and also helped handing out food donations. Family unity was what Jorge always valued, practiced and taught us how important family was. Jorge was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Jenny Rodas; daughters, Stephanie (Francisco) Pantoja Rodas, Laura Rodas, Jazmin Rodas and Miriam Rodas; mother-in-law, Glenda Sanchez; special friends, Victor and Veronica Pantoja; sisters, Amanda (Hermino) Gonzales, Sonia (Roberto) Gonzales, Dora (Luz) Rodas; niece, Elvia Horsfall; sister-in-law, Yadira (Osman) Bardales; Brother-In-Law, Milton (Jonathon Dos Santos) Aguilar; Uncle, Jose (Delmis Fuentes) Salvador Sanchez; cousin, Luis Perea and Edy (Tori) Merida and brother-in-law, Milton Aguilar.
