Obituary for Jose G. “Joe” Parra Jose “Joe” Parra, age 87, passed away in Ontario, CA on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor; loving father of Rafael (Cheryl), and the late Richard (Carol Lynn); Cherished grandfather of Erica (Gianni Pesce), Bianca, Alyssa, Cassandra (Kamil Spodek), and Andrew; proud great-grandfather of 4; dear brother of the late Atanacio, the late Josefina, Maria, Rosalba, Mary Lou, and Leticia; fond uncle and great-uncle to many. Jose will be remembered for his musical talent, his humor, and as the pioneer of the family in helping to move them to America.

He will be missed by many. Memorial Service Saturday 9:30 a.m. at St. Genevieve Church, 4835 W. Altgeld St. Chicago. Inurnment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
