Obituary for Jose Ignacio “Fral” de Zárraga DE ZÁRRAGA, José Ignacio ¨Fral¨, 84 years old, born in Havana, Cuba, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 15, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Calvo de Zárraga; his children, Maité (Manuel) Domínguez, Lourdes (Mark) Farsaci, José (Lisa) de Zárraga, Javier (Serena) Anaya, Jorge (Luis López) Anaya, Adriana (Kenneth) Deutch; his sister, Lourdes (Jay) Thors; and his grandchildren, Alessandra, Carolina, Sofía and Manuel Domínguez, Anthony, Cole, Rudy, Alexa and Katrina Farsaci, Lucas, Joshua and Jacob de Zárraga, Andrew and Michael Anaya, Andres and Miguel Anaya-López y Alexandra y Nina Duque. Fral graduated with a degree in journalism from Universidad de La Habana.

After arriving in the USA he spent the next 50 years in the world of publications as an Executive of Televisa Publishing. He was a member of his beloved Miramar Yacht Club. Fral was a full of life individual who loved his country of Cuba and his family.

He was also a happy husband and friend of his admired and beloved Vivian Calvo. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 7377 SW 64th Street, Miami, Florida, A Christian burial to follow at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, located 6200 SW 77th Avenue. Miami, Florida.
