Beloved father of Jorge (Dana) Garcia-Ortiz and Angelica (Timothy) Matejewski. Loving son of Jose Luis Garcia-Camarena. Dear brother of Arturo, Juan, Felipe, Ricky, Patricia, Lorena, Alma, Reina, Claudia, Irene, Anna, and Maribel.

Dearest grandfather of Isabel, Emanuel, Jorge Jr., Elalia, Timothy Jr., Dani, and Javier. Jose was preceded in death by his mother Concepcion Garcia and his son Jose Angel Garcia-Ortiz. Jose will forever be remembered and admired for his strength and happiness by many loving family and friends.

Jose was a devoted member of Iglesia de Palabra Miel. Visitation Monday, May 06, 2019 from 3-8 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300.

Funeral service Monday 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodmere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Fabry Disease Foundation or the American Kidney Fund.
