Obituary for Joseph A. Scioscia Sr. On Thursday, April 19, 2018, Joseph A. Scioscia, Sr., age 89, of Bellevue. Beloved husband of 67 years to Dalia Jean (Lombardi) Scioscia; father of Joseph A. (Alisa) Scioscia, Jr., Oreste (Clotilde) Scioscia, Bridget (Philip) Scherder, Stephen (Stephanie) Scioscia, James Scioscia and Christine (Joseph) McLean; grandfather of Joseph III, Alexander, Luke and Isabella Scioscia, Oreste Jr., Christopher, Jacob, Clotilde, Katherine and William Scioscia, Rachel, Nathan, Rebecca and Stephanie Scherder, Brittany, Stephen Jr. and Christine Scioscia, and Jack McClean. Preceded in death by his parents, Oreste and Frances Scioscia; brothers Eugene (Evelyn) Scioscia and Oreste (late Lisa) Scioscia; and grandsons Alex Michael and Vincent Michael Scioscia.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Interment will be private.
