Obituary for Joseph Aimee Ouellette Print Joseph A. Ouellette August 31, 1926 – February 19, 2019 Passed in peace on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the age of 92. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Hubert and Juliette (Boucher) Ouellet(te). He attended St. Leo’s Catholic School and went on to serve in the army.

He then had a long career working in the Venus Die plant with Ford Motor Company, from which he retired. Loving husband of Barbara (Lunde) Ouellette. Dearest father of Julie and Gerard (Bernice).

Dearest cousin of Daniel Pasuit. Loving Grandfather of Melina and Jonathan Ross, Alysa and Charley Jackson, and Nadia and Ryan LaPensee. Great Grandfather to Liam Ross, Francesca Jackson, Jett LaPensee, Charley Jackson III, Dex LaPensee, and Isaac Jackson.

Joseph enjoyed life—spending time at the lake at the cottage, watching hockey, feeding birds, reading the newspaper and solving a crossword, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for being a hard worker, having a smiling soul, and always giving an “atta boy” or “atta girl”. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 2:00-8:00pm at the Chas.

Verheyden-Schultz Chapel, 21705 Gratiot, Eastpointe, Michigan. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 10:00 am, instate 9:30am, at St. Basil the Great, 22851 Lexington, Eastpointe, Michigan.
