Joseph Asaro passed away Saturday May 11, 2019 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Guttenberg, NJ before moving to Colonia in 1972. Joseph proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He was a computer programmer for Maidenform in Bayonne for 30 years retiring 2005. He was a member of the Evergreen Senior Citizens in Colonia. Joe was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Giavanna Asaro.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years MaryAnn Asaro, his son Joseph Asaro and his wife Judy and his daughter Denise Asaro, his brother Vincent Asaro, and his loving Uncle Tony Borruso. Memorial visitation will be Saturday May 18, 2019 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Blessing will be at 12:30 pm at the funeral home In lieu of flowers family request donations in his loving memory to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
