Joseph C. Leeth age 67 of Sycamore, died on Monday May 27, 2019 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1952 in Vanlue to Robert L. and Becky J. (Miller) Leeth. They preceded him in death.

Joe married his high school sweetheart Connie Lauthers on August 5, 1972 and they have been together for 50 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife Connie of Sycamore, cherished daughter Casey Hacker (John Wentling) of Upper Sandusky. Joe “Poppy” was especially proud of his granddaughter Blayc Rebecca Hacker of Upper Sandusky as she was the light of his life, a brother Rick Sr. (Jennifer) Leeth of Nevada, sisters Sandy Blair (Lewis Lane) of Sycamore, Lois (Terry) Phillips of Tiffin and many special nieces and nephews.

Joe graduated from Mohawk High School Class of 1970. He retired as a laborer from American Standard after 30 plus years of service. Joe was a good story teller and had a great sense of humor.

He enjoyed vegetable gardening and was an avid Oakland Raiders football fan. His family was his passion. His greatest joy came from the countless hours that he spent with Blayc working as her pitching coach and watching her games.

Time best spent for Poppy were those moments sitting on the bucket, cheering Blayc on always letting her know that he was her biggest fan. His example of selfless love, compassion and courage will be deeply missed by his family. Family will receive friends on Friday May 31, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at Bringman Clark Funeral Home.

A prayer service will follow with Deacon Kevin Wintersteller officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Carey High School Girls Softball in care of Brignman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
