Obituary for Joseph E. Nickel Sr NICKEL JOSEPH E. SR. “Smokey” on June 18, 2018. Beloved husband of 60 years to Barbara Ann (nee Rugal); loving father of JoAnn (Jeff) LaBarr, Joey (Cheryl), and Karen (late Edward) Kukuka; dearest Pop of Meredith, Brianne (Jason) Jones, Cara Anne ( Shawn) Chestnut, Brady, Tessa, Jade, Jerry and the late Matthew, Sr.; “P-Pop” to Emma, Katie, Lucas, Matthew Jr., Teagan, Dean, Adrianah, and Harley; brother of James “Toke” (Anna Marie “Sissy”), Richard “Huck” (Mary Ann), Theresa Nickel and the late Charles “Pete”, William “Bill” (late Maryann), and Elizabeth “Betty” Nickel.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law Anna Nickel, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives, friends and members of Local 513 are invited to his Visitation Friday Eve 6-8:30 PM at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (3rd & Wolf Streets). Funeral Home Religious Service 8:30 PM.
