Obituary for Joseph E. Westdyke Print Joseph Edward Westdyke, of Sellersville, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was 52. Born in Sus, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Abraham and Elizabeth (Knopf) Westdyke.

He was a graduate of Delaware Valley High School. Joe had been employed as a truck driver by PV Transport-Clemens Food Group, of Hatfield; Tastykake; B & D Trucking; and Indian Valley Bulk Carriers, of Tylersport. He was a member of the American Legion and the Perkasie Owls Club, Nest #1224.

An avid fisherman, Joe had also loved the Philadelphia Eagles. He is survived by his three children, Aiden, Jacob, and Kathryn Westdyke, all of Sellersville; and a step-daughter, BreAnne Parkinson, and her husband, Jarred, of Brisbane, Australia. Joe is also survived by his siblings, Robert Westdyke, of Hawley, PA; Alice Botti and her husband, Bill, of East Rapids, MI; Michael Westdyke and his wife, Teresa, of Sus, NJ; Susan Westdyke, of St. Petersburg, FL; Anne Westdyke, of Austin, TX; George Westdyke and his wife, Marlese, of Bartonsville, PA; John Westdyke, of Philadelphia; Mary Wittman and her husband, Steve, of Dripping Springs, TX; many nieces and nephews; and his former wife and mother of his children, Jennifer Westdyke, of Sellersville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cecelia Westdyke Ungerer A celebration of Joe’s life will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, in the Perkasie Owls Club, 602 Elm Street, Perkasie, PA 18944. The family extends an invitation to friends and family to come and share memories of Joe. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
