OBITUARY Joseph Eric Bass January 13, 1965 – November 25, 2018 Joseph Eric Bass, 53, a resident of Ft Mill, S.C., passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his home. Born in Montgomery, AL on January 13, 1965 to Joseph Larry Bass, deceased, and Bobbie Faye Bass. Survivors include: Wife: Cathy Bass, Ft.

Mill, S.C.; Son: Joseph Crawford Bass, who attends the university of South Carolina at Columbia, S.C.; Mother: Bobbie Faye Bass, Georgiana, AL; Sister: Kim Bass, Austin, TX; Mother in Law: Merilee Ferrie; Sister in Law: Michele Young; Brother in Law: Patrick Young. He is also survived by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends from all over the country. He will be deeply missed by many of Joseph’s friends who cherished him as a father figure.

Mr Bass retired from Belk Department Store as Senior Vice President of Operations. Eric had a passion for deep sea fishing, fresh water fishing, hunting, boating, and golfing. He also enjoyed traveling with Cathy and Joseph to places near and far.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2108 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, AL directing arrangements. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.
