OBITUARY Joseph Henry Behm July 28, 1941 – January 22, 2019 Joseph Henry Behm, 77, was called home Tuesday, January 22, 2019, to be with our God and his wife, JoAnn in heaven. Joseph (Joe) Henry Behm was born in Queens, New York. Joseph Henry Behm married JoAnn Teresa McDonald of New York on October 19, 1963.

Joe and his wife, JoAnn, moved to Texas in 1983, where they raised their family. Joe would tell you his hobby in life was to make his wife happy and he did just that for 50 years. Joe was a provider for his family, with his 42 years of service with American Airlines.

He could never just have one job. He traveled to New York to work at Shea Stadium for summer baseball games and ushered at the US Open tournaments. Joe loved to travel whether by car, to try his hand at the casinos or by plane to visit family in NY.

He might have loved checking the flight loads just as much as he loved to travel. His humor and deep chest laughs were contagious. His family will miss him but we are comforted he is once again reunited with the love of his life.

Joe is survived by his children, Joseph, Karen (Joe), Thomas (Cheryl), and John (Carrie); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Joseph, Alexanndra, Kortni, Nicole, Robert, Devin, Tommy, Izzie; his great-grandchild, Jacob; his sister, Eileen (Richard); his sister in law, Lorraine; and many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; brother in law, James McDonald; his parents, Joseph and Rita Behm; his sisters Susan, Pat, and Kathy. Visitation for Family and friends will be Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m at the Bluebonnet Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 2 p.m at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 3713 E. Hardwood Road, Bedford, Texas, 76021.
