Obituary for Joseph Heron Joseph Heron, 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at the Addeo Hospice Residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and settled in Huguenot in 1984. Joseph was a Vice President of Sales at AT&T for 30 years, and then went on to work for Bear Sterns as a Director of IT.

He then furthered his career, working for Linear Technologies as Director of Operations, retiring in September of 2018. Joseph was an avid golfer and was also a NY Jet and NY Met Fan. He especially enjoyed tailgating at the games.

He loved listening to music, the Beatles and Beach Boys being his favorite groups. He is survived by his beloved wife, Celia, nee Fiorello; his loving children Joseph Heron, Jr. and Jennifer Billington; his fond daughter-in-law, Jessica Heron and son-in-law, Sandy Billington; his devoted grandchildren, Jackson and Gus Heron; and his dear brother John Heron. .

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home.

A private cremation will follow. If so desired, contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Ronald McDonald House. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Joseph Heron please visit our Sympathy Store.
