Joseph “Joe”‘s Obituary Joseph “Joe” Martin Cox, 69, of Radford, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Veterans Hospital in Salem. He was a U. S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Francis Cox and Virginia Frances Sheehan Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Betty C. Cox; daughters, Lori (Jason) Moye, Sara Cox, and Shelly Calfee; sons, Dupree Calfee and Gerald Calfee; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Sally (Jim) Ayers, and Sue (John) Karr; brothers, Bryan Cox and Tony (Lani) Cox; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the First Baptist Church on Rock Road in Radford. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.

C. Coles Casey officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Voluntary Care Services @ Salem VAMC/Palliative Care, 1970 Roanoke Blvd. , Salem, VA 24153.
