Funeral services for Joseph John Schwartz V, 32, will be held at a later time in Florida. Joe Schwartz died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his home in Douglas. He was born Saturday, July 12, 1986 in Voorhees, New Jersey the son of Joseph John and Dawn Isabelle (Thompson) Schwartz.

He was raised and educated in Florida, graduating from the Lecanto High School in Lecanto, Florida and received his diesel mechanic certificate from the Vo-Tech department at Lecanto High School. Following high school he worked at the Walmart Distribution Center in Florida as a diesel mechanic. He moved to Dade City, Florida to work for Schwend Trucking and later moved to Missoula, Montana to work the pipeline for Pro-Pipe Corporation.

At the time of his death he was working as a pipeliner for 591 Roustabout in Douglas. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Dawn and Joe Schwartz, of Inverness, Florida; life partner, Kelsi Stotsky of Douglas; brothers, Christopher Joseph Schwartz of Royalton, Wisconsin and Maxwell Bryan Schwartz of Inverness; niece; nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and three aunts. The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
