Joseph Lee “Foot” Knisely, of Delaware, born on July 12, 1970 in Fayett County Memorial Hospital, Ohio, to Sharon Messick of Seaford, DE and Othie Knisely of Ohio, passed away at age 48 on July 14, 2018 in Christiana Hospital, Delaware. He was a mason for several different contractors. He was a member of Native Sons motorcycle riders.

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Opal Funk and Christina Longsworth; and grandfather Robert Funk. He is survived by his mother Sharon Messick and his father Othie Knisely, his brother, Jeremy Knisely; his nephews: Matthew, James, Ayden and Kaleb Knisely; and best friends Allen Young and Jamie Smith. Friends and family can pay their respects at a memorial service to be announced in the near future.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to pay for expenses to take Joe to be laid to rest in Ohio. Online condolences may be made via www. pippinfuneralhome.com.
