OBITUARY Joseph Mezzadra February 6, 1952 – January 31, 2019 On January 31, 2019, Joseph David Mezzadra passed away. He was the beloved husband of Melinda Theresa Mezzadra (nee Haus); devoted father of Jennifer Pamela Exelby and her husband Colin, Heather Marie Mezzadra-Nugent and her husband Joseph, and Melanie Ann Deremeik and her husband Kevin; loving grandfather of Adriana and Alexandra Exelby, Vincent and Ava Nugent, and Conor, Brooklyn, and Braeden Deremeik; dear brother of George Pete Mezzadra, and Michael Mezzadra. Joseph is survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. , Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 2pm to 5pm, and Monday, February 4, 2019 from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 12pm.

Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s name to Lung Cancer Research Foundation, 155 E. 55th St., #6H, New York, NY 10022. Condolences may be left for the family at www.
