Obituary for Joseph M. Moses Joseph M. Moses, age 84, of Nixa passed from this life June 30, 2018. He was born June 12, 1934 in Wild Horse, OK to Ira and Mable (Loomis) Moses. Joe was in construction as a supervisor and a “card carrying member” with Carpenters Local 978 Union for over 55 years.

After retiring he continued working with his wife Faye maintaining their rental houses. He was a member of the Life 360 Church at the Park Crest Campus, Springfield and really enjoyed his fellowship there. Joe was also a member of the Springfield Vintage Motor Club and a longtime owner of a 1937 Dodge Touring car.

Joe is survived by Daisy Faye, his wife of 62 years; three daughters Rowena Ament, her husband Bob of Nixa, Joanna Moses-Elliott, her husband Nathan of Concord NC, Darlene Moses of Nixa; a son Jody Moses, his wife Cindy of Lee’s Summit; six grandchildren Rob Jenkins, his wife Kristen of Naples, FL, Luke Jenkins, his wife Leah of Teaneck, NJ, Emily Hicks, her husband Josh of Salisbury, NC, Natalie Elliott of Concord, NC, Shelby Moses of Warrensburg and Sierra Moses of Lee’s Summit; three great-grandchildren Pearl and Jaxson Jenkins and Clara Hicks. He is also survived by two sisters Martha Parker of Beaumont, TX and Naomi Lyle, her husband Robert of Wellsboro, PA; and a sister-in-law Artie Baker of Bolivar. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; a son David Moses; and a sister Ruth Uzzell.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, July 2, 2018 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Eisenhour Cemetery, Spokane.
