OBITUARY Joseph N. Brady March 21, 1928 – January 30, 2019 Joseph N. Brady of Bardonia, NY, 90 years old, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019. He was born on March 21, 1928 to Joseph and Eileen Brady in New York City. He married his childhood sweetheart and love of his life, Teresa, in 1948.

Joe was a long-time resident of Rockland County. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1946-1947 in Korea, and as a Lieutenant in the New York City Fire Department for 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Teresa, as well as his adoring children Marie, Joseph (Jane), Thomas (MaryBeth), Jean (Dave), and Teresa (James).

He is also survived by his beloved 13 grandchildren Keri Ann, Kate, Ryan, Patrick, Michael, Thomas, Daniel, Teresa, Leigh Ann, Sean, Conor, Kiera & Kathryn, and 5 great grandchildren Matthew, Ashton, Isabel, Reagan And Ella. His entire family meant everything to him, and he considered them all his greatest achievement in life. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 4th from 9–10:30 AM at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 11:15 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack, followed by interment of Cemetery of the Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, NY.
