Obituary for Joseph M. Prahl Joseph M. Prahl, age 75, of Cleveland Hts, passed away April 19, 2018. He was born in Beverly, MA, on March 30, 1943, to the late Fred and Dorothy Prahl. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend.

A tremendous loss is felt by all of those who were blessed and honored to know him. He was a dedicated educator at CWRU for 50 years. He also worked with NASA for several years.

Joe had a passion for sailing in his free time. He was a remarkably gifted man; a national class athlete in hockey and lacrosse, as well as a brilliant scientist. Joe is survived by his wife, Judy Hayes, daughters Erika Prahl (Dr. Kwadwo Ofosu-Barko) and Meagan Prahl (Austin Krauss), grandchildren Xavier, Dylan, Brennan and Jaxon, brothers, Fred Prahl (Ping) and Nick (Bonnie) Prahl.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12pm to 4pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake. A Funeral Service will follow at 4pm.
